Kwara United ready to demolish the pillars in Kano

Kwara United Football Club will later today, Thursday December 28, 2023, at the 20,000 capacity Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano State, take on Pillars in the Matchday 16 encounter of the 2023-2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

This is a match that means a.lot to Coach Kabir Sulaiman Dogo, as he continues his redemption after being given three match ultimatum, following a poor run in the series.

Kano Pillars FC, who are currently in the 7th position with 22 points, will enjoy the full support of their fans in the encounter against Kwara United, who are in the 11th position with 19 points, but despite the placement gap, the two teams looks quite close in performances, which suggests that the match could be evenly contested.

Going by head-to-head record, Kano Pillars and Kwara United have played each other 19 times, with Pillars having the advantage of nine wins, while Kwara United has won eight. The remaining two encounters ended in a draw.
