Nigerian-Canadian Film Producer and Director, Pascal Atuma has bemoaned the unfortunate and pathetic sufferings permeating in the Country, despite abundance blessings of human and natural resources.

Pascal Atuma who adds a year today told journalists that his birthday is being marked to reflect on the current difficulties confronting Nigeria as a nation, blaming the situation on poor leadership and hard policies of the federal government.
” The hunger in the land is pathetic, so unfortunate, things are tough, devaluing our naira at this critical period without proper planning of ameliorating the negative impacts on citizens is a taboo, he added. “
He called on government at all levels to wake up from their slumber and address challenges of inflation, food shortage, price control and other untold hardship, pointing out that Nigerians are presently suffering beyond human comprehension.
“The President, state Governors and other political office holders should remember that life is transient, they are in power today, others will be their tomorrow, hence the need for to prioritize genuine welfare for the citizens to guarantee sane society, things are not rosy in the country”
“Of course I glorify almighty for counting me worthy to add another year but celebration should be in moderation – where hunger and suffering is killing our people, that is why I’m using this period to call on the government to stop paying lip service to masses challenges and address them once and for all ” Nigeria is sinking and is sinking at a rapid rate, not good at all!!
