It’s indeed a day to celebrate for a renowned gallant police officer, Dr Ogunleye’s family, as their son, Precious Oluwaseun Ogunleye, becomes Foursquare youngest Pastor at age 19.
The younger Ogunleye who attends the branch of the church located along Asa Dam Road, Ilorin, Kwara State, will be ordained at the Foursquare camp ground at Ajebo in Ogun State by the church leadership.
The clergyman is an undergraduate in Computer Science and Cyber Security who has been making headlines as a vibrant, brilliant and goal-getter fellow with a promising future.
The would-be youngest Foursquare Pastor, in his words, appreciated God for the Grace given him to wear the cap saying he has faced different challenges in life that almost made him lose faith in his ambition.
He appreciated his parents for trying their best to ensure his present feet and for training him on the path of God despite their very tight nature of their jobs.
The Ikere-Ekiti born clergyman however acknowledged his parents’ resilience, temerity and perseverance as the forces keeping him to remain focus.
Among those whom he reference as mentors are Rev. Dr. Adebayo, Pastor Rev. Dr. Kayode Babtunde and Pastor Dr. Asonibare Stephen stressing they’ve played a pivotal roles in his spiritual development and commitment to his faith, enabling him to pursue his academic and also embrace a leadership role in the church.
His remarkable achievement stands as a testament to the power of purpose and perseverance, especially in a world where many young people are tempted to stray into negative paths.
The younger Ogunleye’s story is a powerful reminder for young people everywhere that instead of succumbing to negative influences like joining bad groups, cultism, or engaging in fraudulent activities, they can focus on building a life of purpose, faith, and service.
