Each time I pick my pen to write on your birthday, I realize the day and the month of May are not all about you, but also, about us in the state of harmony and our country, Nigeria.
I remember it is this very month the progressive governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq appointed you as a member of his executive council and you assumed office as the state Commissioner for Environment.
It is worthy of note that your activities and achievements in this ministry marked a rebirth in Kwara environment.
So, remember that as you are plus one today, the face lift you have given the state’s environment through your policies is also plus one and it is “Happy birthday to you” and “Happy birthday to Kwara Environment”
This is why I see your birthday as not just a day to wish you but to as well talk about your meaningful impacts on the four corners of our territory which have made life much easier for the residents and to thank Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the brain behind everything.
With you in charge of the ministry, monthly environmental sanitation has taken a new turn and people are now aware of their responsibility to their environment.
The recent video featuring popular Nollywood actors circulating on social media is an example of the length you have gone in sensitizing the residents on how best to manage the environment and these gestures of yours are yielding positive results.
Your official approach and relationship with staff of the ministry speaks quality leadership and it’s a great honour for me personally to learn under you.
How you redefined your role through humility and competence, your resilience and dogged leadership prowess have proven you as an asset to Kwara and Nigeria in general.
Leaders like you are few and far between so I wish you more courage to be even more of the apt leader that you are.
Your efforts are never unnoticed and Kwarans are thanking you for the sacrifice, passion and love you have shown to your darling state
