The Saudana of Ìlọrin Movement is more than just a political platform, it is a people-driven structure, a grassroots engine of unity, and a symbol of unwavering loyalty to the vision of His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Executive Governor of Kwara State.
Since its inception, the Movement has spread across all local governments and wards in Kwara State, touching lives, building bridges, and strengthening the foundation of development that our great state now enjoys under the purposeful leadership of Governor AbdulRazaq.
In Moro Local Government, under the dynamic chairmanship of Alhaji Jimoh Ipaye, we have worked tirelessly to connect with every respected stakeholder in our community. Among them, the Executive Chairman of Moro Local Government, Hon. Mariam Omotayo AbdulWasiu, stands tall as a shining example of leadership, dedication, and transformative action. Her performance has exceeded expectations especially in infrastructure development, grassroots engagement, and inclusive governance. As a woman breaking barriers in leadership, she has earned our deepest respect, and we proudly call her “The Iron Lady” of Moro for her courage, vision, and results-driven leadership.
We also acknowledge the exceptional work of Hon. AbdulFatai Laule Arobadi, the Moro APC Party Chairman, who in a short time has successfully united all factions within the local party structure, restoring harmony and purpose to our political family. His ability to foster unity is a testament to the shared vision we all uphold.
Furthermore, we commend Hon. Olarewaju Bello, the Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties, for his outstanding service, unwavering commitment, and consistent delivery of excellence in his office. His contributions reflect the caliber of leaders Governor AbdulRazaq has assembled to drive Kwara forward.
These leaders, along with the members of the Saudana of Ìlọrin Movement, stand firmly and wholeheartedly behind the government of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, a governor who has rewritten the story of Kwara State with visible achievements in education, infrastructure, healthcare, empowerment, and rural development. From the historic 20-billion-naira allocation for school renovations to the transformation of road networks, the empowerment of youths and women, and the expansion of economic opportunities, his administration has proven that leadership is about service, not self.
But our mission goes beyond today. The Saudana of Ìlọrin Movement was founded on the belief that the legacy of good governance must not end with the tenure of one leader. Even after the administration of our working governor has elapsed, this Movement will continue to safeguard, promote, and build upon the foundation he has laid. We are not a faction, we are not divided, we are a single, united force whose loyalty is to progress, unity, and the people of Kwara State.
Governor AbdulRazaq has shown us that with vision, discipline, and sincerity, even the impossible can be achieved. The Saudana of Ìlọrin Movement is determined to carry this torch forward, for Kwara today, tomorrow, and generations yet unborn.
