The Chief Executive Officer of one of the leading Real Estate Trading Company in Kwara State, Quick Access Macro and Micro Limited, Yinka Bolatito Ojo, has revealed how his mother sold all her clothes in order to ensure he has quality education.

Ojo disclosed this while speaking with journalists during the award/dinner night of his company at Arca Santa hall, yesterday.

He recounted how he rose from a very humble background to become a real estate guru with lands in over 74 locations in Nigeria, including Offa, Osogbo, Akure, Lagos, Kwara, Abuja and Ibadan.

Speaking in an emotionally laden voice, Ojo lamented how his parents separated when he was just 12 years old and how his mother singlehandedly cared and nurtured him through odds times.

He said, ‘I’m not from a wealthy background, my Dad was a driver under federal government at College of Medicine, Oyo State while my mum was a puff-puff seller at Layola college. They separated when I was just in JSS 1, 12 years old then. From my mum side, I’m the only lettered.

“I remembered with mixed feelings of joy, laced with happiness how my mum sold all her clothes to raise 40 naira so I can attend Lagelu Grammer school in Ibadan, in the late 80s. But, I thank God today, I am a better human being with blessings bearing evidence.

He also revealed how he rose through life, came to Ilorin for his NYSC programme in Afon, Asa Local Government Area of the State and how he worked briefly with Heritage Water and some other companies in Ilorin before founding Quick Access.

Ojo, in his quest to appreciate his staff and stakeholders, bestowed awards of excellence to many of them who have distinguished themselves over the years.
The dinner/award night, the 7th of Quick Access, was tagged Reward Night, anchored by Barrister Josephine Otun, who presented every segment of the show to the delight of the audience.

The show opened with red carpet around 3:30pm showcasing how guests walked in, exchanging pleasanteries, clinching glassess, taking pictures and also responding to Otun’s humourous teasing.
Another interesting highlight of the event is the couple’s dance of Mr and Mrs Ojo that sparked reactions from guests who attested to how Mr Ojo could not cavort nor prance as much as his wife.
One of the most significant highlights is how Mr. Ojo, out of great benevolence, promoted six members of the company to become shareholders of the Quick Access.

Other side attractions include life music by one Tosin and a stage drama performance that almost got many people scared but very thrilling and suspensive.

One of the awardees, Mr Femi Oyeniran who was decorated with double honours; best staff of the year and best relationship staff, expressed shocked over the honours, saying it was least expected.
He recounted how he left the United Bank of Africa (UBA) 13 years ago to pitch tent with Quick Access company stressing that he is thankful to God for being faithful to him in all ways.
Other awardees include, Dr Owolabi Sunday who won most committed partner, Taye Adebayo won the most industrious staff, Kayode Ojo bagged the best manager of the year while Johnson Balogun, Ibrahim Suleiman, Tosin Ajiboye got different honours from the second category of award.
Earlier, Pastor (Dr) Omotosho Ayotunde of Common Wealth of Zion, Ilorin branch, has charged guests to put God first in whatever they do quoting psalm that except the Lord build a house, the builder builds in vain and except the Lord watches the City, the watchman watches in vain.
Quick Access from years past, has continued to put smiles on the faces of the people and giving hope to those who never believed they could own a property through its systematic, conveinient and easy means of payment that often spread across years.
The company worked with the Core Value of Transparency, Integrity and Professionalism
