The people of Iludun Community, Irewolede area have called on the state government to come to their aids by constructing the community roads linking to other areas as alternative for road users.
The community speaking with Hamony F.M community correspondent, Isiaq AbdulHamid revealed that the community as been facing a lot of challenges since the commencement of the Irewolede,Eid prayer ground road culvert construction.
In his reaction the community Secretary Mr. Amogbonjaye Paul urged the state government to extend it road activities to Iludun Community to easy the movement of motorists and residents of the area, pointing out that doing so would serve as alternative to the current ongoing repair at Eid prayer ground road in Irewolede.
He Commended the state government for up and doing in providing an enabling and motorable roads for it citizens, calling for the hastening of the ongoing culvert for the benefit of all.
Another resident speaking, Comr.Saheed Abdulqadir stressed that pending the completion of the ongoing repair road in Irewolede, the government should construct the alternative near-by roads linking the community to many other areas to serve the road users/Motorists.
Comr. Who also serve as the community financial secretary pleaded that,the roads as become a death traps for the residents since the commencement of the repair road in Irewolede, saying that the Awilo and microtel road in Iludun Community linking to many communities and would be more useful and impactful to the transporters.
A tricycle driver, Asa-Dam to Post-Office, Abiodun Abdulwahab appealed to the government to as a matter of urgency fastening the repair ,as Sallah celebration is fast approaching, adding that the transporters are suffering and consuming more fuel than before.
A passenger, Miss Oluwakemi Amao in her reaction expressed dissatisfaction over the delay work on the road, urged the contractor to improve in delaying the ongoing construction.
