“Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.” It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the death of our brother, Hon. Mohammed Salihu, a former Executive Chairman of Baruten Local Government Council.
Hon. Salihu died this evening after a brief illness.
The deceased who was until his death, the Ciroma of Gwanara Emirate is survived by siblings, wives, children, and grandchildren among them is the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly; Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, Clerk of the House; Hajia Halima Jummai Kperogi and others.
We pray to Allah to forgive and accept the return of Hon. Mohammed Salihu and give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
