Unfortunately, the state of education in Nigeria leaves much to be desired. Many schools lack basic facilities, such as laboratories, libraries, and classrooms, this has resulted in a substandard education system that fails to adequately prepare our youth for the challenges of the 21st century.

It is therefore imperative that we all work together to improve the state of education in Nigeria. As alumni of Government Day Secondary School Fate Ilorin, we have a unique opportunity and responsibility to give back to our alma mater. We must be committed to assisting the school in any way we can, whether through donations or by providing mentorship and guidance to current students.

In conclusion, I would like to express my gratitude to the 1988 set for their generous donation, and I urge all alumni to join us in our efforts to improve the state of education in Nigeria.
