Today, is a special day in the life of all the Youths in this country. It is the National Youths Day- a day set aside to celebrate the incredible potential, energy, and creativity that our youths bring to our State. As Kwara State YOWICAN, we are proud to stand with our Christian youths, recognizing their pivotal role in shaping the destiny of our great State and Nation.

On this occasion, we come bearing an important message, one that is deeply rooted in faith, moral values, and a vision for a brighter future. We charge our youths to fear God, live a godly life, follow the example of our Lord Jesus Christ, set a positive example for others, and to reject cultism and internet fraud, often referred to as “yahoo yahoo.”
Fearing God is not just a religious duty but a guiding principle that encourages us to lead lives characterized by integrity, compassion, and humility. It inspires us to be the best versions of ourselves, showing love, kindness, and forgiveness to all.
Living a godly life is a commitment to embody the teachings and qualities of our Lord Jesus Christ. It calls us to walk in His footsteps, practicing selflessness, compassion, and love for one another. By doing so, we reflect His light to the world.
Following the example of our Lord Jesus Christ is a call to be servant leaders, prioritizing the needs of others, and spreading a message of hope, love, and salvation. Our youths can learn from His selfless sacrifice and lead by serving others.
Being a good example to others is an essential part of our message today. Our youths have the power to inspire and influence others through their actions. We encourage them to be role models, showing respect, kindness, and empathy in all their interactions.
Cultism is a path we emphatically condemn due to its destructive consequences on lives and society. We urge our youth to shun such paths and instead embrace education, personal development, and positive community engagement.
In the same vein, we wholeheartedly denounce involvement in internet fraud, recognizing that it tarnishes our reputation as a State and as a Nation. We call upon our youth to seek opportunities that are honest, ethical, and aligned with their talents and abilities.
But our message extends beyond avoidance. We implore youths to actively participate in nation-building and contribute to the economic development of our state. They are the leaders of today, with the potential to shape the present and future of Kwara State.
Whether through community service, education, entrepreneurship, innovation, or any other positive endeavor, their contributions matter greatly. Together, they can help build a more prosperous Kwara State and a stronger, more united Nigeria.
We want to appreciate our fathers & Mothers in the Lord, State CAN Chairman and Executive, our Director, Advisers, Patrons, Matrons, Royal Father, Deputy Speaker KWHA and our mentors and leaders.
Lastly, we would like to express our deep appreciation to His Excellency, the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, for his commitment to youth inclusiveness and participation in his government. This is a testament to his recognition of the importance of youth in governance and the development of our state.
In conclusion, let us remember that Christian youths are a beacon of hope and promise. Let us guide and support them on their path towards a more prosperous Kwara State and a stronger, more united Nigeria. Together, we can build a future we can all be proud of.
Thank you, and may God bless our Christian youth, our beloved Kwara State, and His Excellency, the Governor.
