Pastor Prosper Gbenle of Perfection of Beauty Baptist Church, Omu-Aran has admonished the Christians to embrace the spirit of boldness and courage against fear.
The clergyman who preached through the book of 2 Timothy 1:7, maintained that people should stop being afraid to take risk because of the fear of failure or unknown.
He said those who shy away from taking action due to fear will never achieve success, emphasing that accomplished individual has experienced failure multiple times, but resilience propels them forward.
He stressed further that when a person fails, it shows progress insisting that failure is not ones finality but death and inability to take actions at necessary times.
He added that Christians should stop getting discouraged and sad because they fail saying risk taking and failures are attribute of champions.
According to him, Goliath used fear as weapon to terrorise the people of Israel for 40 days but David used boldness to kill Goliath in one day
