The royal father of an ancient community in the Kwara South, Odo-Owa, Oba Joshua Adeyemi Adimula has unveiled plan to celebrate the 2024 Royal Praise in a grand display of appreciation by sharing food items among the elderlies and also award scholarships to students who have performed exceptionally well in their academics.
Oloota, while speaking with the press on the event said the purpose is to appreciate God for his mercies, Grace, blessings and protection over the entire sons and daughters of the community particularly those in the diaspora.
According to him, God has been gracious to the community stressing that Odo-Owa remains one and formidable despite devil’s tactics to cause disunity and progress.
Three best students each from the three schools in the community have been selected as the beneficiaries of the royal father award while large numbers of the elderly ones and the vulnerable have been captured in the package.
“By the grace of God, there will be distribution of food items to the elderly and vulnerable members of the community, scholarship awards to exceptional students from the three local schools. The purpose is to recognise academic excellence, with three top students from each school selected as beneficiaries
“We gather to appreciate God’s mercies, grace, blessings, and protection over our community, especially our sons and daughters in the diaspora, despite challenges, Odo-Owa remains united and resilient”.
The Royal Praise celebration aims to foster community spirit, promote academic excellence, and demonstrate the royal father’s commitment to the well-being of his people.
The event will also feature special ministration from popular Lagos based gospel singers like KOFO SAX, Deji Otitonaye a.k.a. HOD Sax, Lady Evangelist Abosede Idowu among others.
Prayers for the community will be led by the anointed men of God in persons of Pastor Abraham Busari, Rev. A. A. Owolabi, Pastor Oladimeji Idowu,Pastor I. K. Oluwadepo, Pastor D.A Oluwatoki and many more.
