Kwara: “You’ve never been a registered member” – APC Isapa Ward carpets Yinka Dallas

…defends party leadership

The Isapa Ward Chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has frowned  at a statement attributed to Mr. Yinka Dallas, a one time suspended chairman of Ekiti Local Government Council where  he purportedly accused the state party leadership of failure in his comment on an anti-APC post by the opposition PDP.

A statement by the Isapa Ward’s APC Chairman, Mr. Adewumi Daniel, and made available to pressmen on Saturday noted that, “Mr. Yinka Dallas was never a registered member of the APC in his ward and has only responded as an opposition element to an anti-APC post from his ally in the opposition party.*

The statement further described the All Progressive Congress, (APC) in Kwara State under the leadership of Prince Sunday Fagbemi as being a success story with untainted records of electoral victories and a purposeful leadership which has ensured a high level of party discipline among party members.

“The quality of the leadership of the APC under Prince Fagbemi was evident in the overwhelming electoral successes which the party has recorded under his chairmanship and the leadership guidance of His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

“If Mr. Dallas is in doubt of the excellent quality of APC leadership in the state, we would endeavor to remind him that the leadership he described as a failure, was responsible for the  electoral defeat of his admired party, the PDP in the 2023 General Elections and the recent Local Government Councils’ Elections.

“We therefore call on our highly respected State chairman and the Secretary to ignore the antics of moles like Yinka Dallas who are agents of the opposition masquerading as APC members .

“The All Progressive Congress, APC in Isapa Ward issues a formal disclaimer regarding Mr. Yinka Dallas, stating that he has never been a registered member of our party in the ward and remains a staunch supporter of the PDP, a party with which he has maintained strong ties to date.

“We urge all registered APC members to cease recognizing Mr. Dallas, as he does not align with our party’s values nor is he a registered member.”
