A prominent Kwara-born human right activist, Barrister Muftau Olobi has reportedly pronounced dead at the wee hour of yesterday following his whereabouts that could not be ascertain for two days.
The lawyer was said to have traveled down to Ibadan in order to transact his legal business with his clients but was eventually trapped in the Nigeria situation of no electricity to power his two phones.
The phones were off for days, the development that brought about insinuation that he had an accident that claim his life.
Olobi, while speaking with this medium on the issue exclaimed, saying, ‘I was not dead oo, I’m home now with my family.
He narrated how news of his purported demise has gone viral subjecting family members and friends into mourning.
He said he was shocked realizing that family members have raised some persons to start searching for his body in maturary and to also report to the media that he has gone missing.
“Well, to those who called to sympathize with my wife, I’m not dead. God will spare our lives all to enjoy our full days on earth. Thanks”.
