Head Coach of Kwara United, Tunde Sanni, has promised to deliver maximum points when his side faces NPFL debutants Kun Khalifa FC in their Matchday 3 clash on Sunday, September 7, 2025.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference on Saturday at the Taiwo Awoniyi Media Centre, Coach Sanni expressed confidence in his team’s readiness and sharpness ahead of the crucial tie.
“We want to make Kwarans happy by securing maximum points. Junior Aimufua and others who haven’t featured this season are ready for selection, while Akanni Akeem and Jimoh Gbadamosi will sit this one out. We urge our fans to continue supporting us with their prayers and dedication,” Sanni said.
The coach emphasized the importance of building momentum early in the season.
We want to start winning our games before the continental matches come. That winning run begins on Sunday against Kun Khalifa,” he remarked.
Team captain Afeez Musa Olororo also assured supporters of a strong performance, promising that the energy and commitment shown in training during the week would be replicated on the pitch.
The encounter will take place at the Rashidi Yekini Main Bowl of the George Innih Stadium Complex, Ilorin, with kickoff scheduled for 4:00 pm.
