The lawmaker representing Ilorin South Constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly, Honorable Maryam Yusuf Aladi, has allocated 10 million Naira towards educational sponsorship over the past two years. This substantial investment highlights her steadfast commitment to advancing education within her constituency.
According to a statement released through her Media Assistant, Ibraheem Nurudeen, Hon. Aladi announced the commencement of the 14th Edition of her termly school fees scholarship program, which benefits over 40 schools throughout Ilorin South Constituency. This initiative exemplifies her enduring dedication to the educational sector, which she has consistently supported through her MAY Foundation even prior to assuming office.
In addition to the scholarship program, Hon. Aladi has demonstrated her commitment by providing ongoing support for JAMB preparation and covering WAEC fees for vulnerable children in Ilorin South. These initiatives aim to ensure that all students have access to quality education and the necessary resources to succeed academically.
