Isin Decides: Why Stephen Awoyale fits the bill

By Opeyemi Adeoti

A truly meaningful representative does not merely occupy a seat; they serve as a conduit between the populace and those in power, effectively translating everyday issues into policies and transforming policies into tangible outcomes.

Upon conducting a thorough analysis of the Ijara Isin born politician’s credentials, Stephen Awoyale, one will draw an inference that he is the most suitable candidate for Isin Constituency.

Why? history reveals that Awoyale has been tested in various governmental, political and religious capacities and he has consistently delivered remarkable results.

He currently holds the position of Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN) Kwara State Chapter, where he has significantly fostered peace and unity among Christian youths in Kwara.

It’s noteworthy to note that he served as a member of the COVID-19 Response Volunteer, Palliative Committee, and Rainstorm Implementation Relief Committee.

While serving in this capacity, Stephen exhibited exceptional administrative acumen, delivering all relief packages without any form of favouritism to those who truly deserve them, the development that people said will count in his favour as a trusted hand for the seat of Isin Constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly.

A meaningful representative they say, creates a personal connection to governance, ensuring that individuals see their lives reflected in decisions and trust that someone in authority is advocating for them. This is precisely what Awoyale brings to the table.

We must note that governance can feel remote when leaders only emerge during election periods. However, Stephen Adeola Awoyale is building his campaign on a different premise, such that a representative must be present, accountable, and focused on addressing local concerns.

As the primary election takes place today, Awoyale’s message is clear: representation should yield visible results and provide an accessible voice, this he captured in his slogan, ‘Isin Gbodo Dara’ (A new voice, a better future)

So, let us come together in support of the voice that resonates throughout the Isin Constituency.
