The All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial Candidate for Kwara South, Prince Olalekan Adewoye, has called on youths across Kwara State to remain united, disciplined, and committed to grassroots mobilisation as the party intensifies preparations for the 2027 general elections.
Prince Adewoye made the call while delivering his chairman’s address at the Kwara APC Youth Engagement Programme, organised by the Salihu Yakubu-Danladi (SYD) Youth Forum under the theme, “One Kwara Project, One Voice: Youth Driving APC Victory 2027.”
Describing the gathering as a significant milestone in the party’s efforts to consolidate its support base, Adewoye commended the organisers for creating a platform that recognises the strategic role of young people in shaping the future of Kwara State and the APC.
He noted that the enthusiasm, innovation, resilience, and commitment of the youth remain the party’s greatest strength, urging them to take ownership of the political future of the state by actively participating in party activities and grassroots engagement.
According to him, the theme of the programme underscores the need for unity among party members, irrespective of local government, ward, or political affiliations, stressing that a collective commitment to a common vision is essential for securing victory in 2027.
Prince Adewoye reminded the participants that young people are more than campaign supporters, describing them as partners in governance, ambassadors of the APC, and the engine room of effective grassroots mobilisation.
He urged APC youths to embrace issue-based politics while rejecting violence, misinformation, and divisive tendencies capable of undermining the party’s collective aspirations.
“Our strength lies in our unity. We must speak with one voice, work with one purpose, and remain committed to delivering victory for our great party. Let us continue to promote peace, mutual respect, and constructive engagement as we take the achievements of the APC to every community across Kwara State,” he said.
The APC senatorial candidate also applauded the Governor of Kwara State, His Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, for what he described as transformative leadership through investments in education, healthcare, infrastructure, youth empowerment, and economic development.
He equally commended the APC Governorship Candidate, Rt. Hon. Engr. Salihu Yakubu-Danladi, for prioritising youth inclusion and grassroots mobilisation, noting that the establishment of the SYD Youth Forum reflects confidence in the capacity of young people to shape the state’s political future.
Calling on party leaders and stakeholders to continue strengthening reconciliation and internal cohesion, Adewoye stressed that electoral success can only be achieved through teamwork, unity, and a shared commitment to the APC’s ideals.
Reaffirming his commitment to quality representation, Adewoye pledged to champion people-centred legislation and policies that would expand opportunities for youths and women, strengthen agriculture, improve education and healthcare, enhance security, and stimulate economic growth across Kwara South and the state at large.
He concluded by urging young party members to rise to the occasion, describing them as the generation that will safeguard the achievements of the APC and lead the party to a resounding victory in the 2027 elections.
The event attracted APC leaders, stakeholders, youth groups, and party faithful from across Kwara State, all united in their resolve to deepen party cohesion and mobilise support for the APC ahead of the 2027 polls.
