My dear brother and friend, Hon. David Oluwaseun Ogunniyi, ADATO, I am truly delighted to congratulate you on your emergence as the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate for the 2027 elections in Kwara State.
I receive this news with a deep sense of pride and joy, not only because you are a worthy son of Offa, but because I know the journey that has brought you to this point. Your story is one of dedication, hard work, experience and an enduring commitment to service.
I am particularly proud to see someone from our beloved Offa entrusted with such an important responsibility. It is a moment that should make all of us proud, and I believe it is another reflection of the quality of people and leadership that Offa and Kwara South continue to produce.
Your journey has taken you through the corporate world, community service and the legislature. Each chapter has added something to the man you are today. You have built your own identity and earned your place through personal effort, even while carrying the proud legacy of your late father, Chief Ademola Ogunniyi, whose contributions to Offa’s political and community history remain memorable.
My dear brother, this new responsibility comes with greater expectations, but I have no doubt that the experience you have gathered over the years will continue to serve you well.
As you begin this new chapter, I pray that Almighty God grants you wisdom, strength, humility and good health. May He guide your steps, enlarge your capacity for service and enable you to make a meaningful contribution to the development of Kwara State.
