The Olusin of Ijara-Isin, Oba Pharmacist Ajibola Ademola Julius today distributed food items worth millions of naira to the residents of the community.
Thousands of Muslims and Christians trouped into the Ijara-Isin Town Hall to for the good gesture of the Lion King.
Welcoming the people into the hall, the Baale of Ijara-Isin, Chief Enoch Bankole said God loves humanity so much which explains why the two religions are fasting at the same time.
He thanked Oba Ajibola for taking care of his people at all times praying God to always bless him even far more than the way he is blessing the people.
The Chief Imam of Ijara-Isin, Alhaji Mufutau Jimoh in his opening prayer, applauded the Oba for the show of love, saying the Kabiesi did not invite the people based on the food he wants to give but for the love he has for his people.
He also noted that the residents as well yielded the call of the Kabiesi because they love him so much for his generosity from inception.
The Iya Suna of Ijara-Isin, Alhaja Afusat Madandola shows appreciation for the gesture saying she is not surprised because that’s exactly the way the King has been taking care of the people, both Christians and Muslims since he ascends the throne.
For the Christian community, Pastor S.O Olawoore of First Baptist Church Ijara-Isin, thanked the Lion King for the food items praying for heaven’s protection on him till the very end.
Responding, Oba Ajibola Ademola Julius thanked the residents for answering his call always. He prayed God to also honor them in their endeavors.
The Lion King therefore wished the people a successful Easter and Salah celebration ahead.
